Major Research Interests
- Communication: Continuous exchanges with biologists to: (i) gather and analyse data obtained from experiments in vivo; (ii) provide a plausible explaination to phenomena through modelisation and thus discuss new hypotheses and experiments.
- Modelling: Use of knowledge in the field of physics and mathematics to formalize biological processes. An adequate representation helps to analyse and understand questions raised in biology and ecology.
- Programming: Numerical implementation of models whenever an analytical solution is lacking. A spatial representation of data (3D, time sequence, . . . ) usually provides a visual incentive that encourage the discussion with partners from biology.
