About Us

The Centre, hosted by Murdoch University and established in 2009, is funded by the Western Australian Government Department of Commerce Centres of Excellence Program.  The Centre is comprised of three research partners (Murdoch University, University of Western Australia, WA Department of Environment and Conservation, 27 collaborating industry partners and 7 collaborating institutions from Australia, USA, Canada, South Africa, Italy and China.

The Centre pools expertise across disciplines and will radically improve efficiency of research, providing adaptive management strategies and implementing substantial cost savings. The Centre integrates closely with the Tuart Health Research Group, the Wandoo Recovery Group and the Centre for Phytophthora Science & Management.
